Marmalade Cat was a band formed at Bristol University in 1994 by Sam May, Rob Jamil, Mary Milne and a variety of others. They recorded one album’s worth of material (named “The Orange Solution”) and performed a couple of concerts, one of which had to be cancelled during the first song because of sound problems. The tracks were predominantly written by May, with Tom Hopkins (who recorded the material) contibuting music credits to “Talk to Me” and several tracks being co-authored by Rob Jamil.
