There are 3 projects by the name Marlow

1. “Making his Storming debut with the simply superb ‘The Rope’, Marlow is one of the new breed of Dubstep producers making waves in the scene, but has accomplished this in a very short time.

Taking influences from, amongst other things, 70’s psychedelic funk band Parliament/Funkadelic, Marlow manages to combine musical elements with underground bassline sensibilities and the result is a truly fresh sound. With a slew of releases lined up for a multitude of labels, Marlow’s star is definitly rising and is certainly one artist to look out for.” Caspa

2. “Electro Glam groovers Marlow are Gary Durant and Robert Marlow.

They began their Stella journey through pop together in 1998 after admiring each others work from afar. Robert had been part of the rich seam of Synthpop acts to emerge from Basildon in the early 1980’s counting Alison Moyet, Depeche Mode’s Martin Gore and best friend Vince Clarke of Erasure as friends and musical collaborators throughout his career.

Programming Ace and synth Maestro Gary has been involved in many successful projects including cult combo ‘Subject to Scandal’ Together Marlow have gilded a solid foundation as one of the most exciting, and original act’s on the Synth pop scene and have a bourgeoning following in Europe and the UK.

Marlow fucking rocks. His beats sound like someone stabbing you in the ears... in a good way. Hear irv's mix of his tunes if you can find it and his mix on Electronic Explorations. Both absolutely devastating.

sounds nice after all the heavier dubstep. why have artists resorted so much to sampling so much of other peoples stuff instead of making their own? like machine, realy have to sample just coz classicals a different genre? quite easy to work a new feel around other peoples basic music
