What Hurts The Most (3:47)
From And The Crowd Goes Wild and 1 other release
“What Hurts the Most” is the title of a song written by American songwriters Jeffrey Steele and Steve Robson, and recorded by several artists. Initially recorded by country music artist Mark Wills in 2003 on his album And the Crowd Goes Wild, it was covered by Bellefire a year later. The first version to be released as a single was by pop singer Jo O’Meara in 2005, from the album Relentless.
Later that year, country band Rascal Flatts covered the song as well, releasing it as the first single from the 2006 album Me and My Gang, topping the U.S country and adult contemporary charts with it. German band Cascada later had international chart success with the song in 2007. A cappella covers of this song have become popularized by Boston-based group, Overboard’s rendition for their 2007 album, “Stranded”. This song was covered on Season 8 of American Idol by Danny Gokey.

Mark Wills – What Hurts The Most
Send ‘What Hurts The Most’ Ringtone to Cell
I can take the rain on the roof of this empty house
That don't bother me
I can take a few tears now and then
And just let them out
