Biography

…well it all started in 1978 on a cold spring day in Chester, England… 30 years I am fortunate nough to have been able to see a respectable chunk of the world at large and live in leafy suburb in Melbourne, Australia. Life is pretty good! Music was stitched into the fabric of my life from an early age and as such I have always felt its magnetic pull. Encouraged by my family and armed with a collection of material from the past 18 months, I entered the studio (www.saltstudios.com.au) under the watchful eye of musical architect, Sean McVitty who in turn, put together a collection of fine musicians (Steve Paix, Ben Grayson, Steve Hadley and Paul Daniel) to produce what is now called A Tree So Tall (2008 –unreleased). Writing music is more than just a passion for me, it is as much my life as breakfast, lunch and dinner. It provides us with an opportunity to solve the puzzle, to create, share and discover commonality! A great artist once said “It’s very difficult for me to say ‘I love you’ but to sing ‘I love you’ for me is easier”
