Marina and the Diamonds is the stage name of Marina Diamandis, a Welsh-born solo artist based in London. Her musical style ranges from keyboard-based ballads to more up-tempo new wave-style songs with full band backing. She played at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Swindon early in May 2009 and played the Glastonbury Festival in June 2009. Her debut single Obsessions/Mowgli’s Road was issued on Neon Gold records in the US, followed by the Crown Jewels EP in June 2009 featuring the songs I Am Not A Robot, Seventeen, Simplify and I Am Not A Robot (Remix).
A debut CD is expected to appear in January and the single release in October.

@Andrey, Marina said that the current track listing is not the final tracklisting, so it's quite possible that she might add Seventeen or Jealousy before it's done. Personally I don't care if Seventeen (or Simplify) are on the CD or not because I already have them on CD and I fully intend to burn my own CDR of the album once I get it with any missing songs added on the end.

Marina is a great artist that is destined to for great things, so enjoy the fact that you have some contact with her now because there will come a time when she just can't do this anymore. Just imagine that you knew Madonna before she released her first album and you get the idea. As for the "new songs" question, most people only know the singles (Robot, Mowglis, Obsessions) and the possibly additional songs from the summer (Shampain, Girls) live set, so to most people the remaining 7 songs are new. The only reason that more people know more of those songs than they should is because someone loaded them up on that 777 web site, and if I remember correctly, the person that loaded them onto that site is also one of the "disappointed" people, so go figure! Personally, I feel privileged to have been able to hear most of these songs in demo form and I'm really looking forward to hearing the final full-band versions. My only disappointment is that we have to wait until Feb to hear them.
