I honestly think this is the worst Marillion song, maybe ever. Including the stuff on marillion.com and so on. Clumsy, gratingly literal lyrics. No imagery, just tedious description. Monotonous vocal melodies. I find it hard to even get through.
The ending is so flawless!
Shivers. Up my spine. And they're playing this album live tonight :)
I don't think I'm exaggerating by defining this as one of the best tracks of the latest 10 years
Best song of 2012. Enough said.
"Many bands can write songs that kick your ass but only Marillion can write a song that really moves you". Just listen to this song and you'll understand.
Wow. I'm in love. Beautiful and extraordinary song.
Hits deep in the soul. Another lyrical masterpiece.
This is the song that makes the album for me!
I love it, best track of STCBM by far!!!
Surprised I haven't already commented. Beautiful song. :')
Gentle and powerful, wonderful conception, don't know how they did this but so glad they did!
The best track on the album.
Well, this is my first listening of this song and i'm very impressed. Fucking beautiful.
For me - magnificent. Absolutely beautiful lyrics... Great story.
That hits the spot. Painful yet uplifting. Perfect.
One of the most beautiful introductions ever to a Marillion song.
