Beautiful cover, one of the best. Love the Floydian guitar at the end.

Really harrowing stuff. Her voice is so emotive. She's amazing.

hmm, working class is a signifier - does it cease to exist if the thing it signifies changes during the life of a song? let's see, um.... shit, marianne's got a lovely smoky voice, doesn't she

only a comment - does working class exist any more? does it mean the same thing if it still exists? doubl it. mostly it involves a desire to move into the middle classes. on the track - first time I've heard it. I know 'Broken English' but that's it.

Im working class, if there is one, but Im no hero. But then, who is? Or perhaps it is metaphorical, or even metaphysical. Still, think of Mao Tse Tung, well known socialist, paedophile and and mass murderer. Crazy, along with Stalin, another mass murderer

I think her aristrocratic heritage just gives this song an interesting new angle. Great cover in all...

Well, applies to Mick Jagger, I suppose, and others of the RS.
