Stay in Love” went for adds at U.S. Top 40/Mainstream and Rhythm/Crossover radio on October 28, 2008 The song is available at Itunes. There has not been an official cd single release date yet. Carey released the song based on her fans decision. In a poll 10,451 of 31.398 fans chose “I Stay In Love” as the 4th single of the album with a big difference. Carey performed the song live as well as a special performance of Hero with the conteststants on November 8, 2008 on “The X Factor” in the United Kingdom. As people say, Mariah gave one of her most astonishing live performances ever, even though a mic problem caused a high pitched noise as Carey belted out her big notes. After performing on The X Factor five of Carey’s songs entered the itunes top 100 in the UK including “I Stay in Love,” as well as “Anytime You Need a Friend,” “Without You,” “All I Want for Christmas Is You” and her original version of “Hero,” some of the songs performed on the night by her and the remaining contestants.

Good 'full-production' sound. Sounds familiar to something else she's done with the same surupy chords and melody. I'd probable prefer the other song that this one sounds like.
