Marco Pirroni

Born April 1959, London. A guitarist who makes lots of feedback. Hung out in the McLaren/Westwood shop, Sex, with other members of pre-punk London elite including the Sex Pistols. First big gig was the 100 Club festival where he was fourth member of Siouxsie and the Banshees’s stage band alongside Sid Vicious and Steve Severin.

Joined The Models, Rema-Rema and with Adam and The Ants, co-wrote all their big hits in 1980s. Wrote and toured with Sinéad O’Connor in 1990s. Has worked with many other artists including Primal Scream, Spear Of Destiny and The Slits and now records and performs in the London-based band The Wolfmen alongside former Ant-colleague, Chris Constantinou.

Also known as authority on the British punk scene and contributor to many books and documentaries on the subject.
