Biography

Mantraman is the recording name of Paul Haynes, former bassist with Intimacy, and now producer of ambient electronica. Based in London UK, Mantraman has to date released seven collections of his work on Massive Offence Records - “Bone Spirit Sea”, “Spacefolding”, “Ancient Light”, “The Stone Angel Sketches”, “The Light Remains-White Springs of Segais”, “Seahorse and Sirius”, “Nocturnes” and most recently “Moonghost”. Blending electronic soundscapes, swirling synthesizer washes and ethereal piano, Mantraman is firmly within the tradition of Brian Eno, Harold Budd, Stars of the Lid, Loscil et al.
