Managra was an offspring created from a gang-bang of a bunch of Waukesha based 90's punk, thrash, grunge, power pop, glam rock, and garage bands. The band always tried to take their music to new levels of eclecticism. But, with an over abundance of band members, and not enough steam to keep the engines hot, Managra eventually fell apart. All the members are still playing music in bands and/or projects, and live in and around the Milwaukee metropolitian area. Links to some current bands' MySpace pages are listed in the blog's "where are they now?" posting. Managra had three releases in its time; a self titled 7" on Action/Reaction records, a full length titled "Modern Day Rememberance" on Action/Reaction and Highwater records, and after the band's break up, four songs were released on compilation titled "A Four Way Stop" on 404 records with other Milwaukee based bands, Hero of a Hundred Fights, Insidious, and Tintoretto.
