Eli Good is Man of The Downtrodden.
Eli grew up in rural Central Texas and was exposed to a myriad of music at a young age. His mother and father spun an assortment of records at all times ranging from The Beatles to AC/DC; Chicago to Earth, Wind, and Fire. It was a house of Rock and Soul.
Quickly he fell into his own, discovering music as a whole. He never settled for one type of music and was always searching for the next greatest thing. Eventually he just wanted to make his own music.
In the second grade he picked up his first instrument, the xylophone, and was amazed at the clarity of the notes, and the way in which the sound could be controlled and manipulated. This fervent interest propelled him on his path.
Shortly thereafter in middle school he joined the band. Played the trumpet and french horn. He learned to Read music, and grasped his rudiments. Then it was High School.
He decided to pick up guitar and try his hand at playing in bands he put together on his own.
He played for a few years with his friends in a Killeen, TX before deciding he wanted to play drums. This is where he found his true home, atop his throne, behind the trap.
He joined the Jazz band at his high school, and worked on his chops. He played with a Killeen, TX punk band, Stifler's Mom. He played in a 3rd-gen ska band called Kingfish for a few years.
A few days after his 14th birthday, he was approached by a friend with a CD-R that had "Fruity Loops" written in Black marker on its surface. This changed everything.
Armed with a 1991 Packard Bell with 75mHZ, he painstakingly worked out rhythms, atmospheres, and beats.
After High School, when all the friends moved out and on, and he no longer had his cypher circle, this talent went by the wayside.
For the last few years, Eli has dedicated his time in music to his current metal band, JoeSixPack. They have put out 2 EP's and rocked the metal and skate scene in the Austin, TX area.
BUT ALAS, YOU CAN'T STIFLE HIP HOP!!
He is currently working on his first mixtape, as well as a few projects with MC's like Pharenzix, Patient 9, AMPhibian, and more.
