There are at least two bands with the name “Malice In Wonderland”.
- Norwegian Rock/Goth/Glam act Malice In Wonderland led by Chris Wicked, formed in 1997.
- Austrian Psychedelic Trance project, formed in 2005.

NORWEGIAN rock act MALICE IN WONDERLAND is currently in the studio recording a brand new album! They will soon start looking for a label home for the record.

THE history of the band goes back some years with the founder Chris Wicked starting his first band as a teenager back in the late nineties and naming the group MALICE IN WONDERLAND. However at that time he was the keyboard player. It wasn’t until 2003 MALICE IN WONDERLAND really started progressing with a new line-up and Chris as the singer. The band recorded a demo (Sin & Decadence) which led to a recording deal. In Norway the self-titled debut saw the light of day in 2005 while it was released abroad the following year.

WITH the critical acclaimed debut album, led by hit single “Lucifer`s Town”, MALICE IN WONDERLAND got a dedicated fan base pretty much all over the world. The debut album was hailed by music lovers and most critics in every corner of the planet.

MALICE IN WONDERLAND has spent recent years well, gained tons of experience and perfecting their music and uniqueness. They have toured in Norway and other European countries (such as Germany, Finland, Italy) and also in China. They have supported renowned artists like Def Leppard, been on festival bills with top names like Jay Z and appeared on several well-known TV-shows and productions.

THE latest single CITY ANGEL is mixed by legendary Tim Palmer (U2, Ozzy Osbourne, Pearl Jam, HIM). The single also includes an acoustic version as a bonus track. The second album - entitled “The Royal Brigade” is currently under production and will be released in 2012.

2) Malice in Wonderland / Psychedelic Trance / Austria

Malice in Wonderland was originally founded by Jaramogi, Matakana & Gargamel, three austrian guys who shared the same passion and taste in music. They started the project 2005 in Innsbruck/Austria and since then appeared on many compilations & ep’s, released 2 albums and performed in more then 20 countries all over the world.

In the beginning of 2011, after a long musical break Gargamel left the collaboration and since then the project is being continued by Jaramogi & Matakana, situated in Europe and Central America.
Over the last couple of years Jaramogi, who is meanwhile responsible for the productions, is performing all over Europe and abroad in a regular basis.
Matakana, who is living in Costa Rica since 2008, is performing Malice in Wonderland in this part of the world.

Malice in Wonderland’s music is characterized by a complex & solid production. The wide variations of sounds, rhythmic structures and textures which seem to move through otherworldly sounddimensions are giving the compositions a very unique and special character.

The Livesets are intended to be a sonic trip deep down the rabbit hole and cover the many faces & various aspects of the tunes in an effectively combination to emphasize a contrast between intricate harmony & distorted screams of raw energy and emotion.

Malice in Wonderland still manages to stay at least a step to the side of the current trends and is constantly developing into new frame-breaking territories, while keeping true to the underground movement.
