Currently studying at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, Composition with Aaron Travers and Piano with Luba-Edlina Dubinsky

Mahlon started piano at age 7, became a student of Oxana Yablonskaya, Juilliard piano faculty and recitalist, at age 14. Also began composition studies with Eleanor Cory at Mannes. Currently Studies Composition with Aaron Travers at the Jacobs School of music. He has been improvising since he began piano.
