FYI: [and to stop the arguing forever] * For classical pieces, treat the composer as the correct artist, not the performer. E.g. map: London Symphony Orchestra - Hallelujah -> Georg Friedrich Händel - Hallelujah

Mahito Yokota & Koji Kondo. One of the best duo ever made?

So you're saying that all composers should have their work scrobbled as the orchestras that play them? Should we go to the John Williams page and get all of his work to be redirected to the respected orchestras that played them? No, I don't think so. Under most circumstances you should indeed scrobble the people that actually played the music (ie the artists) under the artist name, but in case of an orchestra for compositions, they're not representative of the work they play. They are no individual entity or creative input. They're just playing something written by someone else. So although you're technically right, ultimately you're wrong. If you dispute this, then I guess you should go to all the other composer pages and ask for them to change.

Ah.... that sweet, sweet smell of a composer-vs.-performer flame war waiting to ignite... (takes a deep and hearty sniff)

Exactly, it's the orchestra that plays.

Yeah, Cause this guy and the Master himself (Koji Kondo) actually WROTE the music? I don't think they were playing _IN_ the orchestra either. XD

hurricane_mario - Tracks on are tagged by artist, not product. The tracks should be credited to this page, except of course the Koji Kondo tracks. Game names should only be used as the artist name when you have absolutely no idea who composed the music.

Mahito composed all tracks except Good Egg and the 3 Comet Observatory variations, which Kondo did.
