  • Truly one of the best psychedelic albums of all time!
  • Fucking incredible LP...
  • anglo-indian post prog psych fusion folkcore
  • Hi folks! Please note – the two tracks Drmes and Awakening are NOT by the original Magic Carpet band (1972) which had Clem Alford (sitar) and Alisha (vocals and guitar). Also, on Magic Carpet radio (at least one of) the tracks listed as being by Magic Carpet are not by the band whose pictures are displayed, so the whole thing is a bit of a muddle! But last.fm will not allow two separate pages for bands of the same name, for some reason.
  • Also, the album above with the round white shape and purple and blue petals is not by the original 1972 Magic Carpet band. If you want Magic Carpet (1972) stuff, please visit – www.magiccarpetrecords.com or purchase individual tracks above. The only ones above not by Magic Carpet (1972) are Drmes and Awakening.
