1. Machinist was a mathcore band from USA.
One of the most influential bands of all time for Debello was a little-known and underappreciated band by the name of Machinist. They were recognized as an icon of sorts by fellow technical bands for setting the precedent in amazing ‘technical’, but were not around long enough to spread their music around the globe. In fact, there were few that were fortunate enough to even attain a copy of their ultra-limited and extremely DIY EP they made. Seeing as how the music this band made was far too good to never see the light of day, Debello offered to press their EP (which clocks in at just over 11 minutes) and they gracefully obliged.

Machinist aims with its mechanized music at transporting the auditor from the physical world to a mental spot; broaden, or be - or narrowing. Machinist works on melting sound, art and architecture and buildings full of machines.
Abstraction in sound where the spatial experience acts as the center. On one moment pure gothic/industrial darkambient and the other moment they sound like dronebands such as Sunn o))), finally also at a hard alternative of hypnotising kraut/new-age or doomnoise and metal.
Machinist forms the perfect cross-belt on the border area between hell and joy. Without being appropriate only in one direction, Machinist with his splendid visuals ensure live a particular and major experience.
