Couple decent songs, most complete crap. At least this album seemed to get them out of a bit of a slump. Since then they've made 3 great albums.

Some of Robb's most potent lyrics are on this album, whether or not the music has aged to a considerable level of their other albums. The songwriting is top class.

Nah... The Burning Red is even worse. Supercharger at least doesn't sound like nu-metal that much [2].

Supercharger is a brilliant record. It's not Burn My Eyes, The More Things Change, or what Machine Head has done on their two recent albums but this album came out when I was at a low point in my life, and helped get me through those days. Still does. "Blank Generation" rules. Some great lyrics. The title track is Heavy, and I know everyone can aim the song "Kick You When You're Down" at some one. Machine Head may have gotten quite experimental on this record, but it is still heavy. Some great guitar sounds. The song "Only The Names" is a dark song about some sort of drug addiction. The way they sync the music with the mood of the song is brilliant. In my opinion Machine Head has not put one bad record out. "Bulldozer," and the "Declaration" intro are great Heavy Metal Anthem's.
