MJ13 began in London, UK in 2003 as a one-man (Clancy Hood) plus-guests recording group. Hood released the first album as MJ13 (“High Fraud”, 12” vinyl-only, with Littledragon Records) in 2005.

Drummer Anthony Johns and bassist Andres Anguita joined Hood to form a fixed act between 2006 and 2008. They made one independent digital release (“Tienen La Culpa”, 2008) before disbanding.

An official digital re-release of various recorded material is scheduled for late 2011.
