Maybe you might have heard
But no one spoke a word
The day the planet cried
The day the music died

  • I like the riff's the leads and Dave's vocals on this.. the story line is quite good also.,., I would like to hear the {Fear} version of this.. I think Daves would still be better,..,Ooo love the MadDog on ice.,.,.4 or 5 and you will be good.,.,
  • go Dave go
  • megadave70 is an idiot.
  • bye bye miss american pie... drove my chevy to the levy but the levy was dry... and good ole boys were drinking whiskey and rye singing this will be the day that i die... the day the music died.
  • megadave 70 says: "All music by Mustaine rules" : fanboy, much? And on a differnt tilt no, this ain't "punk" rock, not by a long chalk. But not a bad track at all as far as HM goes.
  • @Xd3rr1kX, Lee was used in the original recording. But for some reason when Dave went to remix the album, the vocal tracks had been lost. Dave though it would be better to just re-do the vocals and thus we have Dave on vocals. At least that is what it says in the booklet.
  • I can't believe I'm saying this but... Daves' vocals are of course awesome but the orginial version of this song with Lee Ving on vocals is actually better.
  • Amazing.
  • I like this side project. I always thought Dave had a certain punk sensibility.
