Addendum to the comment below me, unfeasible** given current computing methods and power. at the current rate of progress many wont stand for more than a decade at best, compounded by an increased look to cluster and distributed computing. The USA is actually building such a facility for this exact purpose. Also they are only hard to crack given brute force methods, if you can find a way to get some information about the encryption (half a key, rainbow table etc) they become much easier.

No, you don't get it. Current methods of ENCRYPTION are mathematically proven to be infeasible to crack. You CAN hide secrets from the future.

This is lyrically "the real shit" in Nerd-core hip-hop scene.

Derp. You'd really think a geek would research his shit before writing an entire song about it. Brute-forcing current, modern encryption techniques takes till the entropic death of the universe to finish, and assuming there must be a flaw in encryption algorithms is ignorant at best.

Wow, this song is surprisingly deep and poignant for MC Frontalot.

He makes a good point. You probably shouldn't count on current encryption techniques to hold up forever. Everything gets cracked eventually.

mc frontalot is too smooth, in an awkward uncomfortable geeky way.
