I sailed a wild, wild sea
Climbed up a tall, tall mountain
I met an old, old man
Beneath a weeping willow tree

Word. This blows Golden out of the water. What saintdeuce said. Although, I do dig the Monkees.

you can´t compare M Ward to MMJ... it´s stupid.. even your comparison of the beatles and the monkees is out of place... both compositors are great, end of story

And if life is really as short as they say, then why is the night so long?

    M. Ward is 10 times the song writer than anyone from My Morning Jacket. Saying M. Ward ripped them off is like saying The Beatles ripped off The Monkees.

As much as I love "Golden", I think this song in particular is amazing all on its own. In Post-War, Jim James from My Morning Jacket did make an appearance, but it's unrelated otherwise I think. Nothing can taint either song. They're both fantastic!
