Here is a list of music that you may or may not know.
You should hear it if you dig shit like "beauty" and "grace".
Shot Forth Self Living - essentially one of the best shoegaze albums ever. It'll hit you like a grunt truck and then escort you to the angels. Try Defective - one of the best and dirtiest pop songs ever. "She's a cork floating on the ocean..." I love it.

7 Dec 2005, 04:10 by ellocinaI just got Witching Hour in the mail today. It was definitely worth getting, especially even with the shipping I paid less than $10.
I've found new Ladytrontracks to be addicted to, Soft Power and Last One Standing.
Soft Power is haunting but beautiful. Indeed it does have a soft sound to it, even though the lyrics talk about killing machines and burning forrests. I love that kind of juxtaposition though.
If I do wind up making a top 10 albums I bought in 2005 list, this will definitely be on there. And I've bought a lot of music this year, probably more than I've bought in any other year.
Still looking forward to getting Light & Magic (love the title track and can't wait to hear the original version of Blue Jeans), The Antidote, Split, as well as albums from Throwing Muses and Kristin Hersh.
Weird thing about the latest Morcheeba album. When I went to add it to my amazon wish list, the import version (priced at $29. …
