1) Lunar is glitch/orchestral artist Matt McKegg from New Zealand.
Hybrid Awaken, described as an epic blend of glitched-out grooves backed by inspiring orchestral arrangements, was released mid-2006 under creative commons as a free download. It has since picked up popularity and a large following on the social bookmarking website and community, StumbleUpon.
In December 2007, Lunar quietly released a second album, Wall of Sound. The ‘signature blend’ of electronica and orchestral from Hybrid Awaken remains but this time the journey is deeper and darker.
Both albums can be found on his website/blog and downloaded free of charge at http://www.lunarmusic.net/hybridawaken and http://www.lunarmusic.net/wallofsound.
2)After leaving Gone Bald, Bojan (drums) and Nixa (bass) decided to move on with another band; this Lunar was formed in 1998, Croatia. A few guitarists (Franjo, Mexo, Sven, Saša) came and went before Davor and Mijo settled down and clicked with Bojan and Nixa, and during that period, Lunar made two records:- “There is No One” LP/CD on Carnival Tunes (HR) & Delboy Records (BE) respectfully, and “Turbo” on Moonlee Records (HR). There is also 7” with cover of “Fly me to the Moon” on Delboy Records.
