White Trees was created in the summer of 2008. Friends since they were at school, they have been playing together going through various musical styles and different experimentations, sharing their tastes and knowledge. With limited time and equipment, they recorded six songs that constitute what can be thought of their first album (2008).

May Nasr (b. 1965) is a Bahrain-born Lebanese singer. Born on the 8th August 1965 in Bahrain, in 1987 she gained a degree in Human Development and Social Work from Beirut University College. In 1997 she met the sound engineer Fareed Abul Kheir, who became her musical mentor, and whoo introduced her to Zaki Nassif.
Michelle (23 years old) and Noel (21 years old) Keserwany, are singers, songwriters and illustrators. After the huge success of Jagal el USEK they released a sarcastic album, "bel ghalat", composed and illustrated by them, about lebanese society.

Fareeq el Atrash started out as a free jam collective in Beirut several years ago, but it is now a hip hop band with a sound that is distinguished by a laid back, topical flow over live instrumentation. The main conspirators behind this project have been (as of the last three or so years) Edouard Abbas (rhymes) and John Imad Nasr (beats).
