Lumbers is Wesley Goatley, a sound artist and experimental musician living in East Sussex, England. Most of the early material was written and recorded in Castle Malwood Lodge, a 19th century mansion in the New Forest in Dorset, UK, where he lived alone. The first release was a split CD between Lumbers and Nacht Und Nebel in 2010, followed by the CS50 ‘Press Your Hand To The Sky’ in 2011, and the tape/CDR ‘Sometimes Everything Collapses’ in 2012.
