Biography
“Luisa mandou um beijo” means “Luisa has sent a kiss”. It was born as a solo project of Fernando Paiva, in 1999. He recorded his new rock-bossa songs in a 4 track tape recorder and invited his friend Flavia to sing the lyrics. For the drums, he asked a help from his old friend Fabiano. In 2000, he released Luisa’s first demo.
Because of the good feedback and the fine reviews published in the press, Fernando and Flavia decided to form a band to play live, and invited some other friends to join the group. What was initally a solo project became a colective one.
Now Luisa is: Flavia (vocals) Fernando (guitars), PP-Pedro Paulo (guitars), PC-Paulo César (bass), Shockbrou-Daniel Paiva (trumpet), Andrezinho (flute) and Luciano (drums)
