Biography
With a sound that is a balanced blend of electronic, acoustic and rock guitar music, Lucybell has been compared to Blur, Catherine Wheel and Radiohead. Their critically acclaimed debut, Peces, won them the Best New Group award from the Chilean Association of Entertainment Journalists (APES). 1996s Viajar launched the band to international fame, with the several singles in rotation on MTV and tours that took them to Mexico, the U.S. and Colombia. Lucybell put together their own studio to record their eponymous third album, which they then took to Buenos Aires to mix and to Londons Abbey Road Studios to master with engineer Chris Blair (The Beatles, Radiohead).
The success of the bands fourth studio album, Amanece, clinched their position as one of the most important Latin rock bands in Chile and Latin America, and their live album and DVD, Sesión Futura, along with the Sálvame la vida EP, earned them the Best Group APES award in 2003.
Lucybell is now the best-selling rock band in Chile. With six gold records and a large and faithful fan base, this trio is poised to take on the world.

yo si creo que desde el penultimo album la banda cambio su sonido y realmente en contadas canciones tiene ese sonido caracteristico por el cual siempre me gustaron los Lucybell. ojala que este album en el que se trabaja como sexteto nos devuelva a esa banda maravillosa que conocemos y que con el paso del tiempo se ha venido transformando en otra...!

haré una comparación un poco salida de contexto, pero hay tipos de "Evolución" como la de Radiohead que siempre sorprende con un sonido diferente, nunca pierden su escencia pero suenan frescos siempre, aveces las bandas pierden un poco el rumbo y un poco el entusiasmo de sorprender.... Lucybell ha caído un poco en eso, pero bueno, espero que el sexteto ayude a encontrar su sonido definitivo, y que nos cierre la boca a todos :D

El gran error de toda la vida, ser FAN incondicional, así un grupo no puede mejorar si le aplaudes todas sus gracias; como en todo, como en cualquier oficio, se te debe de juzgar objetivamente, para que exista esa Evolución. No todo cambio es evolución.
