Lucy Pearl was an R&B supergroup formed in 1999 as the idea of former Tony! Toni! Toné! member Raphael Saadiq. The other members of Lucy Pearl were Dawn Robinson (En Vogue) and Ali Shaheed Muhammad (A Tribe Called Quest).They released their self-titled debut album Lucy Pearl in 2000.

  • Now the person i'm pissed off at is Maxine calling that damn group of hers,en vouge to the max. Them girls are no where close to being En vogue,they can't sing at all to me.
  • I would've left en vouge too the money wasn't right, do you know how much work they have to do. Even when they reunited back in 2009 they did a interview and the other girl agreed that the money wasn't right. Now what happened after that i don't know.

  • Loved this group & their chill, neo-soul smoothness. I read that even though Dawn did the vocals on "Save The Last Dance", when it was time to do the video they got another girl without letting Dawn know. So the girl was lip-syncing to Dawn's voice... That is how she found out she was not in group anymore. If that is how that happened, that wasn't right...
