Lucky Lips is a rootsy acoustic band,
consisting of four guys and a songbird.
With the exception of percussion and the ukulele, the instrumentation of the band closely resembles that of a traditional bluegrass band. However, the band also draws inspiration from several other musical genres in their songwriting.

In June 2011 Lucky Lips had the great honor of being awarded the prestigious
#1 European Bluegrass Band 2011 Award award at the European World of Bluegrass Festival (EWOB) in Holland.

Lucky Lips started working on the material for the album Mountain Dust in the fall of 2011.
Having previously released one album, an EP and a single, Lucky Lips’ second full-length album, “Mountain Dust”, was released May 15th 2012.

The summer of 2012, the band had a busy touring schedule. With notable appearances including headlining at the EWOB festival in Holland, as well as performances at several of the biggest roots festivals in Norway.

They are now planning their first US-tour!
