Love is Over formed in the summer of 2011 by Victor La Rocco (Vocals/Rhythm Guitar) and Steven Gay (Lead Guitar). They began putting material together and brought in Justin Fife to play bass guitar. In late October the band brought in Cameron Sheer to play drums. The band recorded “Happiness Machines” and “I have everything I could ever want” in late 2011 and released both on SoundCloud.

Due to scheduling conflicts in January of 2012, Cameron Sheer was replaced on drums by Scott Gaona.

The sound of Love is Over is a mix of the loud guitar and atmospheric noise with pop song writing.

We played our first shows in February at Records and Old Ironsides in Sacramento.

March 2012 will see a new single and us playing a Serge Gainsbourg show.
