Lovage is a one-off project headed by Dan the Automator under his alias “Nathaniel Merriweather” (a persona he created for the project Handsome Boy Modeling School). The album is called Music To Make Love To Your Old Lady By, a collaboration with Mike Patton and Jennifer Charles of Elysian Fields, who both provide vocals.
In an interview with MTV in 2006, Patton claimed that he and Dan the Automator are planning a follow up album but are unsure of Charles’ involvement.

@Yamber: The album is a gimmick of utter cheese, yes, but I don't see what one thing has to do with another. This album drops both panties and boxers, and I can't speak for rawcoon or anyone else, but I've never found myself in a sexual situation with a belly full of giggles because of some pointless detail. See, by that logic you would laugh at Barry White if his jams were on because it's cheesy, even though his stuff is so awesome because it's typical and obvious. But then if the music didn't "fit the mood" it'd be awkward and that too would make you laugh, so you're pretty much saying you can't listen to music while being intimate, ever. That's weird.
