Lords of Acid is a Belgian acid house band from the late 1980s that started as a spinoff of Praga Khan with the controversial new beat single I Sit on Acid in 1988. Their debut album, 1990’s Lust (along with the remix singles Rough Sex and I Must Increase My Bust) became famous within the electronic music and dance music communities for their outrageously sexual lyrics. Their second album was Voodoo-U, which featured a more industrial sound. This was followed by Our Little Secret (1997), Heaven Is an Orgasm (1998) and Expand Your Head (1999). In 2000 they released a more rock-influenced album entitled Farstucker and in 2003, after being in the business for 15 years, released the album Greatest Tits. Their fans formed an online community called Children of Acid.

Lords of Acid also performed as Channel X and Digital Orgasm, with a less sex-based and more rave-influenced sound.

One of the first bands I really got into as a tween (thanks to my mom's cheesy early 90's rave compilations). ... hmm, maybe *that's* why I grew up to be such a perv, hehe ... ... well, I didn't really care for Our Little Secret when it came out, and haven't listened to anything they've released since then, but I'll always love Lust and Voodoo-U! ;)
