Loophole - The Biography
——————————————-
“Loophole are assault by soundscape; shimmering, rippling guitars underneath vocals which alternate
between a looping howl and a tuneful spitting, everything played extremely loud and crashing
into the audience at full force” - www.Drownedinsound.com

Loophole conceived their first recording in summer 2001. A five-track demo entitled “Better Waste of Your Time”; it delivered the band’s distinctive song writing to the world. Melodic and haunting yet gritty and challenging, reviews have elevated the band’s progress.

Kicking off 2003 New Year the band had a four-day recording session to produce their new three-track demo, The Shimmer E.P. This was sold at their biggest gig at the time: The Junction in Cambridge, a venue they have returned to several times since.
