There are two artists with this name:
1. A British indie rock band 2. The Vibrants were a mid- 1960s Australian pop rock group that emerged from Bobby James & the Vibrants in Adelaide and charted with "Something About You Baby" and "My Prayer" as "The Vibrants" after their lead singer left the band to form the "Bobby James Syndicate".
The Surf Zombies were formed in 2006 and have released two full length CDs and are nearing completion of their 3rd. Their first show was opening for Dick Dale at Gabe’s and since then they have kept busy playing festivals, parties and clubs. They were founded by Brook Hoover on guitar and Joel McDowell on bass, with Tyler Russell on Drums.
The Surfites, a gang of landlocked gremmies playing trad instrumental surf music. Formed in 2004 by the two Fjellgren brothers of Swedish 90's surf band the Daytonas. Debut album "Big Pounder" came in 2007 and was followed by "Escapades in Space" in 2008, both releases on U.S. label Double Crown Records.
A quartet originating in Eugene, Oregon in the mid-1980s, The Surf Trio's first lineup included Ron Kleim (Guitar) , Dave Meyer (bass), Pete Weinberger (guitar), Aaron Temple (drums). Later drummers included
Los Twang! Marvels The Band Los Twang! Marvels are currently based in Berlin. The founders, the delirious guitarists Alex Antonio (Argentina) and Marisol Yolanda (Chile), launched the band in the far east of Germany in the heart of post-Wall Saxony in 2002.
