LocoRoco is a PSP game that is all about happiness.
One of the most popular aspects of the game was the music, which ranged from childishly simple, nursery-rhyme-like melodies to witty genre pastiches - the characters, the LocoRoco, all had different voices, with which they would compliment the songs. The fluid nature of the LocoRoco allowed them to be combined into one 'soloist', and be split into as many LocoRoco as you have collected to form a 'choir'. While most songs were performed by the helium-voiced Muimui with backing vocals by the LocoRoco, each LocoRoco had its own special song in its own special genre displaying its character.
The songs are sung in 'LocoRoco Language', written by the game's creator. He explained that it was important to him that the songs sounded the same all over the world.
