Biography

1. Locksmith were a group who used to play with Grover Washington Jr. in the late 1970s their one and only album Unlock The Funk was released in 1980 at Arista. Members: James Simmons, John Blake, Leonard ‘Doc’ Gibbs, Jr., Millard Vinson, Richard Steacker, Tyrone Brown. Produced by Harvey Mason.
The bass rift from funk-Locksmith song Far Beyond was sampled in the Basement Jaxx track Red Alert.

2. Locksmith is a half american, half persian rapper from Richmond, California. He is one half of the duo The Frontline.

3. Also known as Pickpocket Plus, Locksmith is an instrumental musician from Australia. He has produced primarily solo guitar music under ‘Locksmith’.

    im from San Jo' and u are hands down the best LYRICIST i have ever heard from The Bay (or any other ghetto, city, or suburb). eagerly anticipatin that FRANK THE RABBIT LP.
