The bass line of this song is almost identical to "The same mistakes" from the cooper temple clause: http://www.lastfm.de/music/The+Cooper+Temple+Clause/Kick+Up+The+Fire%2C+And+Let+The+Flames+Break+Loose/The+Same+Mistakes

I love the way that the song itself "shifts shapes" so dramatically. The first chord played somehow seems so ominous, but the next one completely reshapes the mood into one of total relaxation. The singer sounds serious (maybe even a little scared) delivering the line "My king, I'm humbled before you" but then performs a total turnaround, stretching the next two words--"I bow"--into a fluttering line of their own. Then the hook comes exploding out of the serene landscape of the first verse and when it departs, it does so instantly, clearing the way for the next verse. When the hook returns, it gets an extra line; but when it again disappears, the two chords that have been with us from the very first bar--hypnotizing us with their plodding alternation between ominous and relaxed--vanish, giving way to airy arpeggios; here the song's transformation takes it only real pause, allowing us to catch our breath before rocketing us towards a frenetic finale. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!
