  • A breif `review` of Sat 22 Sep – Live, Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, Seether,…

Sat 22 Sep – Live, Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, Seether, Collective Soul

The show started at 5pm and ended around 10/11'ish. Each band did there thing for about 45-75 minutes with a 15+++ minute 'set-up' between each performance.

Overall it was a wonderful event, just perfect. The crowd wasn't to much, yet enough people came so that the artists had motivation to sing (with passion?). Seether opened the show and then Collective Soul came out and rocked the crowd back awake. Once they were finished the sun was finally (FINALLY) setting and the lights came on and it seems the real show was just beginning.

Three Days Grace and Breaking Benjamin appeared to have the largest following as the traffic almost doubled for these guys. Nice show from 3DG yet Breaking Benjamin did a really fantastic job as they gave us some talking, some interactive singing, dancing (white guy stomping), and etc...

Finally, Live came on around 9:40'ish and for some F*** reason people started to leave. …
  • Live and The Brian Jonestown Massacre

I had a week of mixed music.
Wednesday Night I saw The Brian Jonestown Massacre at Webster Hall with my ex, who I absolutely adore, and her mother, who is simply awesome. The only mother I know who would encourage me to get a fake ID to go see shows at 18+ venues.

Anyway. The point is that, it was The Brian Jonestown Massacre! I love Anton Newcombe and I love his band, and I love Swallowtail. They play that song like a motherfucker. And umm... the performance was great cuz he wasn't all fucked up and shit like he was when I saw him towards the beginning of the year at the North Six... he played like, five songs that time and ended up freaking out and pulling some poor fucker onstage because the guy asked him to play Freebird. Hahaha, it was pretty funny though. But of course, I like it more when I get to hear some real music. It was... absolutely beautiful. They have two twelve strings on stage at once, and like... wow.

So that was a great show. …
