Liturgy strays away from traditional black metal elements and instead incorporates those of other genres such as progressive rock, experimental rock, and even noise rock. That being said, those that stick closely and endorse old black metal ideals might stray away from this album. [2] I absolutely adore this album.

I thought this was going to be a bad album seeing how it's hated among the metal world. It turns out this is actually really good. 1000 times better than the new dimmu borgir album. Abrahadabra is the album everyone should be hating on.
