Orlando, FL (2008 – present)
Delarosa originally formed the project (and began playing and recording under that name) in the summer of 2008 in Orlando, FL. Live performances have subsequently alternated between solo performances by Delarosa and small-band performances. Past members of the live band have included Casey Schwarz (of Saving Twilight & Bleeding Rainbow), Brian Philips (of discovery of magnetic north), Sam Metro (of Magic and the Johnsons), and Hannah M. (of Thunder Hag).
The first full-length Little Insects album, Almost Ghost, was self-released in March of 2010.

Little Insects has a new, indie-pop album called Almost Ghost. It's a little electronic, moderately folky and fairly piano-driven, possibly along the same lines of Jens Lekman, Sufjan Stevens, and Coconut Records.
