About this album
Living Like A Runaway was Lita Ford’s eighth studio album, released on June 2012. The album was Lita’s big return since her album Wicked Wonderland. Wicked Wonderland was produced by Lita’s, now ex, husband Jim Gillette. Gillette also shared vocals on the album which disappointed fans. Shortly after the release of Wicked Wonderland Lita and Jim split. Living Like a Runaway expressed Lita’s emotions towards her husband.
Living Like A Runaway was a therapeutic album for her, she called it “a true comeback album” and tried to erase the sour taste left by her 2009 release. The standard edition has 10 tracks, and the deluxe album has two bonus tracks. One bonus track, ‘The Bitch Is Back’, was a cover of Elton John’s version.
