LF Project comes out from the idea of two musicians with completely different styles: an accurate sound research with the help of samplers and digital systems and the presence of acoustic instruments.
You can find something similar in Morcheeba and Massive Attack, but the female voice reminds the magic atmospheres of Sade.
Biography: after the collaboration with “New Age Magazine” and the publication of two songs – Psycho war (1/1999), By the sea (3/1999) – Paolo Folzini and Marco Pieri (the original components of LF project) met an american black singer, Constance Foster (Kay Foster Jackson), in Italy since 1997. Working together Liquid Frame created a style of pure contamination: the dark sound of trip hop mixes with acid jazz and the sweetest vocal melodies.
In this period Liquid Frame also produced documentary soundtracks for italian tour operators.
Now the project is a bit different: after Marco Pieri’s departure the genre has become more electronic, with a drum’n’bass and a techno project, a new soundtracks library and the constant presence of Gianluca Zanetti at the keyboards.
The collaborations with other artists go on with the precious help of the musicians like Diego Frazzi and Giuseppe Piranio.
