So last night Mockingbird was released. It's the first song
off our yearlong release Four. We'll be releasing a song every
month or so throughout the year.
Not all of these will be updated or redone versions of past
songs like Mockingbird (Last Few Seconds). I will say, however, we
have a kickass reimagining of Parallel to Yours/ An Empty Universe.
I'm not entirely sure what to call Four. At first it was an
EP with four songs getting released in early January for our
birthday. After realizing it would have sucked had we released it
before being finished, it was decided to dedicate time to one song
and next month move onto the next. It's more than likely that we
release much more than 4 songs for this. That being the case, this
could turn out to be a full album.
This is going to be a pretty big year for us. We got Four
already underway, City Lights is still coming, Chris started the
next installment of the Reformations and Ostracism EP collection
(it's just such an awesome fucking song he made) and in March when
I'm in Phoenix I will write the words for the next album.
I am uploading the new song, Mockingbird, as I type this.
What we have here is the first song of a yearlong EP called,
very uniquely, Four. By yearlong I mean we will be releasing songs
for this throughout the year. 2010 is our 4th birthday. And now you
get the four.
This is song is a bit of a redo of The Last Few Seconds off
our Reformations and Ostracism EP.
...it's fucking sick.
As with all our songs, this is free for you to take and
I'll be back tomorrow with some more info on this when my
ears have had a chance to sleep today off.
