"someone told me because of how they are being said, they are stern proper commands. opposite of the actually tone of voice, being rather soft and somber." Not really stern commands, just casual commands (not polite, but not rude).

I Love The bit at the start, when he's singing it over and over, i think the rest of it sort of kills it to be honest, it should have interluded into "lift me up, let me go" like on the piano in english or something.....? <3

It's a shame this is not a REAL song, just an interlude. Just when the music "lifts me up" into the feeling that this is a rocking song..it fades out!! :(

持ち上げて、解放して (mochiagete, tokihanashite): "Lift me up. Let me go." <= someone told me because of how they are being said, they are stern proper commands. opposite of the actually tone of voice, being rather soft and somber.

Yeah, Joranada Del Muerto is also the site of the first ever atomic bomb test, just to clarify the tying in with the album.

"i heard the lyrics and WTF, I couldn't believe that was Mike speaking Japanese, not Spanish." The title is a name of a place http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jornada_del_Muerto, and Mike singing in Japanese has a purpose.
