  • In the late 50's I was Link Wrays neighbor. We lived in an apartment project in Congress Heights in S.E. Washington, DC. None of us had air conditioning and in the summer you left your windows up. Everyone could hear Link and the Wray Men practicing Rumble and their other songs during the day...what a treat that was and then to see him go on to make a living doing what he loved.
