Interestingly, there were some songs played on this week's Roundtable; allow me to describe them, before I recommend a song for you to fetch.
In the Morning, not to be confused with In the Morning, is a bit of a toe-tapper. The lyrics are a bit shaky, particularly in the chorus. It's all a bit... not really much of anything.
The "come on"s in We are your friends might have been sampled from Pure Pleasure Seeker and throughout the song I would rather have been listening to that. The non-vocal bits do indeed sound like a 1980s video game; so it stands out stylistically, but I reckon it'll soon get dull.
Sheila and Smile are both prime examples of chav hip pop – wit a summa flava – both of which will be unduly popular for a little while. The latter is distinctly the less unpleasant of the two.
There was probably a message in Mighty-O's lyrics. I don't care what it was. If I did I'd have to listen to it again.
