Biography

Gravesend, Kent, UK (2006 – present)

LightsGoBlue is an // band formed in December 2006 in Gravesend, Kent, UK. Its lineup was Alex Light (guitar, synthesizer, vocals) and Raj Dheansa (drums, synthesizer, vocals) until May 2012 when Alex announced his departure from the band.

Throughout 2009/2010 LightsGoBlue have toured the UK as main support on tours with Enter Shikari, Hadouken!, Canterbury and Feeder side-project Renegades, as well as appearing at UK festivals such as The Great Escape, Sonishphere, Redfest and Hevy.

Since then the band made an appearance at the Incubate Festival in Holland, endured a mammoth six week tour of North America opening for Enter Shikari, and finished the year with a three-week UK run supporting live act Tek-One.

LightsGoBlue have also flexed their remix muscles reworking tracks for artists such as Canterbury (their remix of “Friends? More Like A Gang” was included on the CD box-set release of their debut album Thank You) and The Joy Formidable, as well as Enter Shikari.

They released their official debut EP This Is Spectrum in late Sept 2010. All tracks were written, recorded, produced, scrapped, re-written and hammered into shape by LightsGoBlue in their bedroom studio.

Wow, one of the guys left? I was wondering what happened to these guys. This Is Spectrum is still one of my favorite things. Huge ups to Enter Shikari for always bringing the best bands on tour.
