Biography
Lifelike & Kris Menace’s dancefloor monster ‘Discopolis’ has been destroying clubs for well over 18 months since it first emerged on Frenchman Alan Braxe’s revered Vulture label. Signed to Defected in later 2005, and continuing to cause chaos from Miami to Ibiza with the issue of new remixes, the record is finally set for a full release.
In addition to a stunningly sexy video which has been picking up much attention, the remix package is, to say the least, heavyweight - Chris Lake (driving Electro House), Kerri Chandler (deep, late night business), A Hundred Birds (amazing live House from Japan), Claude Monet (French flavoured peak time offering) and Demi (extended and cleverly re-edited) all provide new versions that respect the original while taking it in subtle new directions.
