Levphonic is an orchestra of the mind, body and soul. Hailing from Southern California, Levphonic has taken Electronic music to new heights with his innovative blend of genres that he has named “Cosmic Fusion”. Lev creates tracks to enhance life and to carry you on a journey through his ever-active spirit.
Levphonic’s first release is entitled “The Urban Jungle” is set to release in December ’09. Currently he is working on various projects, including a project with Velvet Music Group label mate, DJ Unwind which will be released in 2010. He is also doing some compilations with other artists in and out of his genre.
Lev has quite an array of influences from Jazz to Hip-Hop, Rock, Soul, R&B and the list goes on as you can tell by listening to any of his music. Levphonic’s love for music stems from a very early age. He used to listen to records with his mother almost every day. As a child he would play jingles that he heard on the T.V. on a tiny keyboard. As he got older Hip-Hop became his main love. He would make pause mixes on cassette tapes. At age 16 Lev began creating his own tracks on his first keyboard. Not able to sample he had to teach himself to play piano by ear.
From that point he began to work with different artists in his area. As more artists came, the need to know more styles of music followed. Lev adapted to the needs of the artists and ended up with a new style all his own.
In 2005, while living in Atlanta, Lev was picked to be on Adult swim’s “Aqua Teen Hunger Force” season 4 DVD for a remix the he submitted of the theme song. Later on that year he also had songs on various newscasts and pod casts in his area.
